Internet Abbreviation

Hello everyone!

When we´re surfing the internet we use some abbreviations, don't we?
Quando navegamos na internet, usamos algumas abreviações, não é?
In English is the same!
Em Inglês é a mesma coisa!

It's easy to see OMG for Oh My God!, LOL for Laugh Out Loud on chats or blogs...
É fácil ver OMG para "Oh meu Deus!" LOL para risos em chats e blogs...

This video shows an example of internet abbreviation... Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory is playing an on-line game and when he needs a pause he says AFK - Away From Keyboard para os outros jogadores.
Penny says "I see" as in "I understand" and he thinks it´s another abbreviation (IC)
Este vídeo é um exemplo de abreviações da internet... Sheldon do The Big Bang Theory está em um jogo on-line e quando precisa de um tempo ele diz AFK - Longe do Teclado para os outros jogadores.
Penny diz "Eu Entendo" e ele pensa que ela está dizendo outra abreviação (IC)

It says Do It Yourself, sometimes you´ll find the same market written just DIY, wich means, there are products there to use your creativity and make some handcrafts.
No letreiro diz Faça Voce Mesmo mas você pode encontrar outros com a abreviação DIY, wue significa que há produtos para serem usados com sua criatividade pois são produtos para você fazer à mão, sozinho.

Vocabulary:

stare - when someone is looking at you a lot.
           quando alguem esta olhando muito pra voce.

super dooper whooper burger - when you want to emphasise the subject.
                                                 quando voce quer dar enfase no sujeito/objeto.

mixed race girl - a girl whose parents are from different races. Like a Japanese father and a Brazilian mother.
                        - uma menina cujos pais sao de diferentes raças. Como um pai japones e uma mae brasileira.

The interesting thing to mention here: bias.

O que eh interessante mencionar aqui.

It's the word you use to describe when you have a prejudgement on something or someone according to its appearance.

Eh a palavra usada para descrever quando você tem um pre-julgamento de algo ou alguém de acordo com sua aparência.
